Do You Like Used Books?

If you are into used books then Gift and Bible Center is the place for you. We currently have thousands of used books for you to peruse in our west Saginaw Hwy. location. We not only have used Christian books, we have hundreds of non-religious books as well.

You may be asking yourself “why would a Christian bookstore carry non-religious used books in their stores?” Well, let me tell you.  All of our used books are donations. We will accept almost any donation of book and music. The reason all of our used books are donated is because Gift and Bible Center saw a need in the Lansing area and we wanted to fill it. The Lansing City Rescue Mission needed funds and we found that people wanted a place to donate books that they no longer wanted.

We took on this project in 2010 and our used book department has been going strong even since. Because of the great sales we have had in our used book department we have been able to donate thousands of dollars to the Lansing City Rescue Mission.

Our used books are priced to sell with prices ranging from $.25 - $30. The majority of our books are priced at no more than $4. Not only are they cheap, but we also offer a deal of buy 3 books and get the fourth book FREE!!

Please stop in and thumb through our large used book department and in the process you will be lending a helping hand to those in need.

Amazing Music Summer!

If you have been patiently waiting for new music in past few months get ready! The wait is almost over! Tenth Avenue North will be releasing their fourth album “The Struggle” on August 21, 2012. This album is reminiscent of their past records with engaging lyrics and tight melodies.
Produced by one of Christian music’s best, Jason Ingram, this album promises to be the best to date. The title track “The Struggle” tackles the topic of Christian’s who struggle with the battle of reaching for holiness. The line that sticks out in this song is “Hallelujah, we are free to struggle”. What a great reminder that we don’t have to be perfect, we just need to try.
No matter who you are you do not want to miss this new release. Again the street date is August 21, 2012.

Another amazing album coming in late July is “Live Worship from Vertical Church”. Hailing from Chicago’s Harvest Bible Chapel, these very talented worship leaders have put together an amazing worship record. The “Vertical Church” album features worship leaders; Andi Rozier, Meredith Andrews, Lindsay McCaul, Jacob Sooter, Seth McConkey and Kyle Fredricks. This album will be available July 31, 2012 so whether you are a hardcore worshipper or just like to listen to positive music, this record is for you.
